Sunday 31st March Easter Sunday

10.30am Rev. Armstrong Fummey - All Age Worship and Holy Communion

No evening service due to the indisposition of Rev. John Chambers

 

PRAYER Dear Risen Lord, we meet today rejoicing, for you loved us so much that you gave your life for us. May we share the love you give us with all our brothers and sisters. Amen.

 

The Flowers in church have been given by Margaret Gardner in memory of her husband David.

 

EASTER CROSS FLOWERS

This morning the bunches of flowers you have brought will be used to make a Cross of Flowers to hang outside Trinity after the service.

 

We congratulate Penny and Nigel Masters upon the birth of a grandson, Roux, born to Robert and Eleanor in Birmingham on Thursday 21st March. We pray that God will bless him.

 

We regret to announce the death on Thursday of Brian Goldspink. Please remember his wife Clare, Doug & Stella Girdwood and Helen, Michael and Annika Goldspink in your prayers.

World Mission Fund

At the start of a New Year, as we make afresh our Covenant with God, and also make New Year resolutions, it is our custom to distribute envelopes for the annual Appeal for the Methodist Fund for World Mission. this fund supports grants to World Church Partners and key mission projects in other countries. Support is also given to Mission Partners from the UK who are invited, after training, to serve Partner Churches in the Caribbean, South and Central America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Please give as generously as you can and sign the Gift Aid certificate if you are a taxpayer.
