World Mission Fund

At the start of a New Year, as we make afresh our Covenant with God, and also make New Year resolutions, it is our custom to distribute envelopes for the annual Appeal for the Methodist Fund for World Mission. this fund supports grants to World Church Partners and key mission projects in other countries. Support is also given to Mission Partners from the UK who are invited, after training, to serve Partner Churches in the Caribbean, South and Central America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Please give as generously as you can and sign the Gift Aid certificate if you are a taxpayer.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Kath Palmer on Monday morning. The funeral will take place at 11.15am on Friday 4th January at Forest Cemetery, followed by a service of thanksgiving at Havering Road starting at approximately midday.

PRAYER. Merciful Father, we bring before you all those suffering violence, especially in the home. We pray that you will bless them with your mercy and keep them safe. Help us to teach our children to love and care for one another and help us to lead more caring lives. Amen.
