Welcome to all visitors and friends who come to join us in worship here today. The Lead Steward today is David Partridge. Please stay for tea/coffee after the morning service, served by John & Vera Watling.

Sunday 13th January

10.30am Mr Tim Banks - “What is Leadership?”

3.30pm We have been invited to attend a special service at Romford Salvation Army Citadel when the 19th General of the Salvation Army, Commissioner Linda Bond will be preaching. This is a ticketed service. Please speak to a Steward if you want to go. You need to be in your place well before 3.30.

6.30pm No Evening Service at Trinity

PRAYER. God of all grace, you call us into new relationships of faith and love. May we learn to trust one another and look to Christ together, so that the world may believe in you; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Flowers are given by Peggy & Trevor Bennett in memory of Peggy’s parents.

The formal accounts for Trinity and Elm Park, together with the Trinity Reserve Policy, have now been completed. The Property schedule for Trinity has also been completed. If anyone requires sight of these please speak to David Holland.

World Mission Fund

At the start of a New Year, as we make afresh our Covenant with God, and also make New Year resolutions, it is our custom to distribute envelopes for the annual Appeal for the Methodist Fund for World Mission. this fund supports grants to World Church Partners and key mission projects in other countries. Support is also given to Mission Partners from the UK who are invited, after training, to serve Partner Churches in the Caribbean, South and Central America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Please give as generously as you can and sign the Gift Aid certificate if you are a taxpayer.

OUR PRAYERS ARE ASKED FOR all those who cannot be with us today because they are sick or housebound, Remembering especially Barbara Lancaster, Beryl Bennett, Brenda Jones, Brian Robertson, David Knights, Irene Root, & Ron Root Joan Carter, Peggy & Trevor Bennett, Margaret Gardner and David Witham.
