Welcome to all visitors and friends who come to join us in worship today. The Lead Steward today is Desmond Parker-Apau. Tea/Coffee will be served in the front vestibule after the morning service by Peggy & Trevor Bennett.

 

PRAYER At the start of a new Methodist year, we pray that we may go forward blessed by the Holy Spirit, to carry out the tasks set for us. May all those starting out on their journeys to live, work or be educated in new places, remember that you, O Lord, are with them. AMEN

PRAYER

Loving and gracious God, be with us throughout the hours of the day. In the morning, when there is newness all around and work lies ahead, inspire us with your call to discipleship. In the middle of the day, when so much still remains to be done, remind us of your continuing presence. At the end of the day when our work is over, reassure us of your surrounding love and give us rest. AMEN
