Welcome to all visitors and friends who come to join us in worship here today. The Lead Steward today is David Partridge . Please stay for tea/coffee after the morning service, served by Kath Hilton & Regina Coleman.

PRAYER. Gracious God, through your Son you call us to walk in your way of service and sacrifice. Help us to trust always in your promises, that we may walk with determination, faith, courage and joy until we find our rest in you. AMEN

 

THE FLOWERS in church today, are given by Julian Wood and Marlene Partridge to celebrate their birthdays.

Redecoration of the Church Sanctuary started on 3rd January. All services will now be held in the Lower Hall and entrance will be through the rear door.

This will inevitably mean some disruption to our usual practices and premises and we ask for your good will.

 

YOUR PRAYERS ARE ASKED FOR all those who cannot be with us today because they are sick or housebound, Remembering especially Alan Grace, who is still in the London Hospital, Barbara Lancaster, Beryl Bennett, David Knights, Irene Root, Joan Carter, Ron Stanfield, and Doug & Stella Girdwood. John Bennett has now had his operation and is progressing well.

Jesus was young when he died but his knowledge and understanding surpassed that of the older Pharisees and Sadducees. Read Matthew 5 verse 20,, also Job 12 verse 12. Even the youngest can have maturity. How do we see ourselves in out later life?
